BLAQ CARDS  is a new and distinctive manufacturer of custom metal credit cards, debit cards, and as well as membership and gift cards. 

 

Specifically, we upgrade your existing debit or credit card from plastic to a luxurious metal—that’s it.

IS MY CARD SAFE WITH YOU?

 

As a business our clients are what our longevity as a company is based on. We are in the business of personilzation and customization. We would not risk losing our clients, getting bad reviews, or doing anything illegal. We enjoy making long-term clients – NOT stealing information. What we offer is a very unique product and we are in a very unique business, and with that we pride ourselves in gaining your trust. We do not store any of your credit card information in anyway. We only transfer the data from your card to your new metal card. 

 

Please realize, in order for us to produce a fully functional custom design card of your choice, you will need to ship us your card. There is simply no other method for us to do so without it.

We do not ask for your PIN, social security number, pass code or any other information of that sort. 

 

However, if you are still concerned, you do have the option to send a debit/pre-paid card with zero monetary funds available. Or a card that has not been activated or freeze your card during the time we process your order. We do not store any card information, after we have made your custom card – we have it only for the time needed.  Once your new metal card is complete, all of your personal information will be deleted. 

 

 

WHAT  CARD INFORMATION MAY BE CUSTOMIZED?

 

Every piece of information on the card can be customized.  After all, it is your card and you can design it anyway you would like. We are here to help you with the design. 

 

HOW SAFE IS THE PROCESS?

 

We GUARANTEE the SAFETY of your card information on our end. All payments transaction are performed via secure payment applications. 

As an added security measure, we require all clients to submit either a frozen/locked or unactivated plastic debit|credit card for maximum security during shipping. This ensures no one is able to access your card incase it is lost or stolen in the shipping process. 

International clients should contact us prior to placing an order to ensure a smooth transaction/ transition. 

 

ARE YOU AFFILIATED WITH A BANK?

 

No, We are an independent  third party company and not affiliated with any banking institutions. We are a personalization service that customizes and laser engraves a metal card and transfers your data to it.

 

WHICH CARDS CAN YOU CONVERT?

 

We are able to convert nearly every card in the market with the exception of a few cards. 

We are able to convert ANY plastic Debit or Credit Card. We are also able to convert cards such as the Platinum, Gold, Rose Gold and other AMEX Cards.

Please note that our Magnetic Strip process is 100% Successful.

The EMV Chip transplant is 98% Successful. There is a low chance of chip failure during transplant, incase the chip transplant is not succesfull we ask you to get a new card issued from your bank ( As Damaged) so your card numbers do not change. We will then create a new card for you.

WHICH CARDS DO YOU NOT CONVERT?

 

The few cards WE DO NOT CONVERT are cards that are already FULLY METAL OR TITANIUM. Such as the Metal BLACK CARD and APPLE CARD.

 

DOES IT WORK AT ATM MACHINES AND EVERYWHERE ELSE?

 

  • Yes, it does work in ATM machines. But It is not recommended to use these metal cards in ATM machines where it is swallowed entirely and you are not able to have a grip on it. The problem with some of these machines it that the metal card is too stiff for the rollers to eject the card properly. The card could get stuck in these machines. It is only recommended in machines where the card is inserted but there is a part of the card that is still exposed to be able grasp it if is does get stuck. 

  • Your new metal card should work every where your plastic card works. Since the only difference now is the housing for the EMV chip is no longer sitting in your plastic card but a metal one. Remember your credit card is the EMV chip and not the plastic housing around it. 

  • You can also certainly setup your smartphone to use the contactless feature (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, ect…) to access the ATM machines. A bank representative will certainly help you with that if you ask.

  • If your metal card does get stuck in these machines, walk into the branch with your ID to claim your card back.

What is your return policy? Do you include warranty?

 

Due to the nature of our business which customizes a card to your specifications and your approval, we do not offer any refunds. Meaning all sales are FINAL. We pride ourselves on excellent service and satisfaction. If there is a specific issue, contact us.

As for warranty, we do offer a Insurance Add-On when purchasing your custom card. This is an extra $99 and includes 2 Card Replacements for 2 years. (  You would have to send us your card again) 

 

What should I do if I lose my Metal Card?

 

Contact your issuing bank IMMEDIATELY. Losing your metal card is the exact same as losing the original card. 

NOTE: All banking institutions monitor member card activity via the 16-digit card number printed on the card—they do not monitor the plastic card itself. Thus, report your bank-issued card as lost or stolen, EVEN IF THE BANK-ISSUED CARD REMAINS IN YOUR POSSESSION.

BLAQ CARDS DOES NOT COVER LOST OR STOLEN CARDS. UNLESS THE ADDITIONAL INSURANCE WAS PURCHASED.

 

DOES THE TAP AND PAY FUNCTION STILL WORK?

 

No, it will not. But you can always use your smartphone to enable “tap and pay” with your phone if this is something that you would like to keep.

 

DOES THE MAGNETIC STRIP WORK?

 

Yes, we transfer the data from your plastic card over to the metal card. 

 

Some POS machines (mostly the older ones) could have a hard time reading the magnetic strip since it is on a metal card. It might have to be swiped 2-3 times for it be be read. Some rare cases it might not be read it all. This is a common problem once again only with the older POS card readers since they were designed to only read plastic cards and not metal cards.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

 

Yes, our services are available for international credit / debit / prepaid cards. Including Canada, UK, Japan, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Germany, France, Korea, Singapore ect… Please ship your card as a GIFT CARD NOT AS A CREDIT CARD.

 

We request that you ship us your original card using DHL, Fedex, or UPS. We will then UPS (via next day air) the card back to you the cost is $55 USD.
